The difference between gear oil pump and rotor pump

Gear pumps and rotor pumps are both positive displacement pumps. In the definition, gear pump is also a type of rotor pump, but in actual naming, due to the time period when the cam pump flows into China. Rotor pump

Because the two rotors rotate synchronously and in opposite directions, a strong suction force is generated at the inlet and outlet of the rotor pump, which sucks in the required material to be transported.

Gear oil pump

The operation of a gear oil pump relies on a pair of identical gears inside the pump body, which are standing side by side inside the pump. The two gears will generate negative pressure on the suction surface during operation. This negative pressure will suck the liquid into the pump body, gradually increasing the amount of liquid sucked in and producing high pressure on the discharge surface. The liquid will be sprayed out of the pump body.

Rotor pump

Rotary pumps are needed and used in many industries due to their following characteristics:

1. Due to its long service life, there is a gap between the two rotors of the rotary pump during operation. So there will be no friction, no calculation caused by friction.

2. The rotary pump has a wide range of applications and can transport media with high viscosity, high concentration, and even particles. This is an advantage that gear oil pumps cannot compare to.

3. The rotor pump is also a very energy-saving product. Because the rotor pump operates at a low speed, but with high efficiency.

4. The sealing of the rotary pump is relatively firm, and a complete set of insulation devices is installed inside the pump body. The rotary pump can work between 2-250 degrees. So the performance of the rotary pump is very good.

Gear oil pump

The gear oil pump has a small volume, a compact component structure, and is convenient to use, making it a good choice.
