The cam rotor pump can transport oily wastewater, sludge from the sedimentation tank, clean the warehouse, clean the line, and clean the tank. And it can suck mixed media containing soft solid particles. So what are its characteristics?
1. Bearings and synchronous gears of cam rotor pumps
The synchronous gear is installed in a separate and enclosed gearbox, with high-quality and strong gear casing for accurate transmission and a longer service life.
2. Septal compartment
There is a barrier chamber filled with liquid between the gearbox and the pump chamber, which separates the synchronous gear from the overcurrent pump chamber. On the one hand, it maintains the synchronous gear from being damaged by the fluid. On the other hand, to prevent gearbox oil from entering the transmission medium, the cavity is also filled with smooth fluid. It can achieve a smooth effect and monitor whether the mechanical seal is flawless (when the mechanical seal fails, oil will overflow from the spiral hole under pressure).
3. Fully cast pump casing
The overflow part of the pump casing is made of high-precision cast iron, which can be made of gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, or stainless steel raw materials. The pump cover, which is easy to disassemble, is fixed by only four screws. This design allows each component in the pump chamber to be opened and replaced by flipping the pump cover. Each pump casing is cast as a single piece and processed by a CNC machine tool.
Even if the transportation medium contains a large amount of large particle impurities, it can ensure continuous transportation of large diameter inlet and outlet.
4. Shaft seal
The selection of raw materials for this maintenance free mechanical seal is thoroughly based on the characteristics of the medium, and its elastic O-ring is also selected based on the medium.
The smooth liquid envelope in the central cavity ensures the smoothness of the mechanical seal, even during dry pump operation or vacuum suction. The smoothness remains outstanding, and the central cavity also prevents sedimentation and crystals from occurring when the medium comes into contact with air.
5. Rotors
The cam rotor pump has a variety of rotors to choose from, suitable for various abnormal applications. In addition to various abnormal metal materials, it also provides various abnormal elastic rubber, plastic and other special materials. For pumps that have been put into use before, new rotors can also be replaced.
